Located in central Iowa, Derrig Vizslas is a small family owned kennel. Our Vizslas are both pets and hunting partners and are bred for temperment, sociability and field ability - making our puppies suitable as both companions and hunters. Our puppies are raised in a family environment, handled daily, socialized and exposed to many sights and sounds before being placed. I would be happy to personally deliver or ship your puppy for an agreed upon cost.
The Vizsla is the breed for you if you intend it to be primarily an indoor dog that is part of the family. This high-energy dog does demand daily exercise, however, and will train easily with praise rather than negative or harsh reinforcement.
